Classes/Workshops:
Experiment with Batik & Fabric Dye Ages 15- Adult
Do you enjoy designing your own fabric? From beginner to the more advanced student, this class is for you. Join us as we experiment with and apply dye to 100% natural materials (cotton, silk, rayon or linen). Projects include making a batiked infinity scarf using soy was and wood block stamps (Cotton Jersey 10"x 68"); designing a hand painted silk scarf (Habotai Silk 6"x 24"); Indigo vat dying; and experimenting with Color Magnet and Tie Dye. Please bring $10 payable to instructor for a Habotai silk scarf and a Cotton Jersey Infinity scarf. Bring additional fabric to use as the possibilities are endless.

Screen Printing with Stencils Ages 13 -Adult
Interested in adding another element to your creative endeavors? Screen printing offers you this versatility. From design to heat setting, learn single process screen printing techniques using your own stencil. Starting with a simple hand drawn image learn how to create designs that can be printed multiple times on fabric. Turn your prints into pillows, totes, table runners, bandanas or print on a T-shirt. Please come to class with design ideas and cotton or cotton blend fabrics to print on.
