Saturday, June 23rd, our final art show for the year in Jersey City. We will be selling the rest of our products as well as spray painting a mural with Mr. Mustart, graffiti artist. Come check us out, support us. All students welcome to participate.
Exact location: Provost Street between 2nd Street & Bay Street AND First Street, between 2nd Street and Warren Street. Demer was at Colorest Art Supply on Saturday, teaching aerosol art, so I went & had a blast. We used 3'x4' foam board. I did a quick sketch in the am, and got it up on the board. It was a good learning experience, and I picked up a few tips to tell my students. Using spray paint definitely takes time, practice, and talent! I'm in awe of graffiti artists who have mastered this medium! Sunday I spent painting on canvas. I have better control with a brush rather than spray can!  1st I sketch out the image & add shadowing |
